Professional drifter Ryan Tuerck debuted his insane Ferrari V8-powered Toyota GT86 at the 2016 SEMA Show in November and now he’s drifted the car for the first time at California’s Willow Springs Raceway with fellow drift ace Chris Forsberg.
Tuerck’s GT86, which he’s dubbed the ‘GT4586’, is packing the 4.5-liter V8 from a Ferrari 458 Italia between its two front fenders. In the 458, the engine is rated at 570 horsepower at 9,000 RPM and 398 lb-ft of torque at 6,000 RPM. In Tuerck’s new drift machine, the engine is paired to a sequential racing transmission.
Watch the world’s only Ferrari-powered Toyota GT86 smoke out Willow Springs Raceway and drift with Forsberg’s twin-turbocharged Nissan 370Z drift demo car in the video embedded above. If you’re craving for more footage of the insane Ferrari-Toyota mish mash after watching, you can watch it drift all year long in this year’s 2017 Formula Drift season.
