Ram Trucks has launched a new marketing campaign for its Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 line of pickup trucks entitled ‘Long Live Ram’.
The new campaign, which will consist of two 30-second spots to debut this weekend during NFL football playoff game telecasts, showcase the “resolve of those who depend on Ram trucks every day,” Ram says.
The first spot, entitled ‘Long Live Ram’, is set to Bob Dylan’s ‘Forever Young’ track performance by country artist Anderson East and shows how families, farmers, first responders and others use Ram products to get their daily tasks done. The second spot, dubbed ‘Skate’, shows Ram trucks clearing snow to let a town go ice skating on a lake.
In addition to the two 30-second TV spots, the ‘Long Live’ campaign will also include online advertising and social ads on Ram’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages. Future lifestyle marketing extensions are also being planned, the automaker says.
