A Maserati salesman at a Denver-area dealership was killed in a high speed accident shortly after posting a live video of him to social media speeding in the luxury four-door.
According to CBS, 24-year old Brandon Gionapoulos lost control of the Maserati he was driving while travelling at a high rate of speed. Shortly before the fatal accident, posted a video using Facebook live of the high-performance sedan acceleration from 0-110 mph.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office described the speed at which Gionapoulos was travelling at the time of the accident as “wreckless.”
Gionapoulos worked for Mike Ward Maserati Infiniti, a dealership located just south of Denver, and reportedly had access to the dealer’s cars. It’s not clear if Gionapoulos was driving the mid-size Ghibli sedan or the full-size Quattroporte.
