Earlier this month Japanese tuner Liberty Walk debuted their new widebody kit for the Ferrari 488 GTB at the 2017 Tokyo Auto Salon. The company’s take on the 488 GTB looks pretty killer with its widebody kit and Forgiato wheels, but thanks to a Frequency intelligent exhaust system, it looks even better than it sounds.
Tokyo Auto Salon attendees obviously didn’t get the chance to hear Liberty Walk’s own 488 GTB at the show, however Frequency Intelligent has featured the vehicle in a promo video for its exhaust systems it recently posted to Facebook, revealing the car’s ear-piercing exhaust note.
Fi’s exhaust kit for the 488 GTB has reversed any muffling affect the turbochargers have had on Ferrari’s eight-cylinder engine and has it sounding like the natural-aspirated 458 that preceded it. Now owners can enjoy the low-end grunt of a forced-induction Ferrari without having sacrifice the head-turning exhaust note.
