Now that Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond’s new Amazon Prime show The Grand Tour has hit the web, the BBC’s new take on the trio’ former claim to fame has been all but forgotten. The network is moving forward with the show, (probably very reluctantly) but it’s safe to say that nearly every viewer that said they would “give it a chance,” has moved onto to TGT.
There is one last glimmer of hope for the BBC’s motoring show of former world fame: The Stig. He’s still silent, he’s still wearing a white race suit and he’s still the fastest thing you’ll ever see lap Top Gear’s test track at Dunsfold Aerodrome. In a seemingly desperate bid for attention, the show posted the Stig’s onboard lap of the Dodge Viper ACR to their YouTube page and despite our bullying here, we we’re actually pretty entertained whilst giving it a watch with a our morning coffee today.
