It’s entirely possible for a Jeep to beat a 900 horsepower twin-turbocharged Lamborghini Huracan in a drag race – as long as the Lamborghini spins out after 20 feet.
That’s exactly what happened when tuning company Gosha Turbo Tech went to complete test runs of its newly built twin-turbocharged GTT900 Huracan. The company’s test driver lined the car up on the grid against a modified Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT and upon launching the car got little traction on the greasy track surface. He stayed in the throttle and ended up spinning into the other lane, all while the Jeep went speeding down the strip drama-free.
When the Lamborghini does hook up, it’s apparently capable of running the quarter-mile in 9.0 seconds flat at 150 mph. It survived this outing to hopefully post a similarly fast or perhaps even faster run one day, but for now, recap its near coming together with a concrete wall in the video embedded above.
