Tom Cotter, also know nas ‘The Barn Find Hunter’, has been finding cars in fields, barns and other abandoned and remote locations for nearly 50 years. Despite what some say, Cotter assures us there’s still good barn find cars out there – and he’s proving it on his Hagerty-sponsored web show.
In the most recent episode of The Barn Find Hunter, Cotter stumbled upon a man with two interesting Mopar cars for sale that he had lying around in a field in the desert. The first is a 1971 Dodge Charger that Cotter deems in “good,” working order and the perfect candidate for a restoration. With the engine in running order, the body in good condition and the complete interior present, it’s hard to argue with him.
The second car is a 1956 Desoto sedan with a 331 HEMI V8 hiding under the hood. The owner says it could serve as a good parts car for someone looking to restore the more desirable two-door version, however Cott says it’s not so hard to find someone that appreciates the four-door enough to restore it.
