Fiat Chrysler honored its 27 best and brightest dealership technicians in the United States during a special awards ceremony in Michigan this week.
Head of Mopar Parts and Service Pietro Gorlier presented the 27 elite technicians with Top Tech awards during the ceremony, which has held at the historic Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester, Michigan on January 10th. In addition to an all-inclusive two-day trip to Metro Detroit to attend the event, the technicians also received a tour of FCA’s U.S. headquarters.
“Customer satisfaction and retention will continue to be key drivers of our business, regardless of vehicle or make,” Gorlier said in a statement. “The decision to purchase a particular vehicle brand is determined not only by the attributes of the vehicle, but also as importantly by the level of service that the customers receive. That is why it’s so critical to make sure that our top technicians receive the proper training, and that we recognize superstars of the service lane, such as these 27 high-performing technicians, as well as the dealerships that support them.”
The 27 techs were chosen from a massive pool of over 250,000 eligible employees. In addition, another 72 top technicians (including the 27 ‘Top Techs’) received a Top Tech branded Mopar tool kit consisting of a Snap-on four-drawer roll tool cart, 1/2-inch Snap-on cordless impact wrench and a 3/8–inch Snap-on cordless impact wrench. FCA also honored 75 of its techs with a ‘Platinum’ title and another 100 with a Gold designation, 200 with Silver and 625 with Bronze.
