Every year the world’s greatest tuners and car builders create amazing projects for the SEMA show in Las Vegas. Sometime the cars are held onto by the sponsors or shops that built them but often times they are sold, like this 2015 Dodge Challenger ‘Rapture’, for example, which was built for the 2014 SEMA show and is now for sale on eBay.
The ‘Rapture’ Challenger just so happens to be the first 2015 Challenger R/T Scat Pack to roll off Dodge’s Brampton, Ontario assembly line. It was designed by Murray Pfaff of Royal Oak, Michigan and built by Downforce Motorsports, which doesn’t appear to be around anymore. The car was built for SEMA but was also designed with the OPTIMA Ultimate Streetcar Challenge in mind – an amateur race series that challenges competitors to build a track car that is both competitive and street-legal.
According to the listing, the Rapture Challenger has a “complete one-off custom body kit made of hand formed aluminum,” which consisting of revised front and rear bumpers, a rear diffuser and functional hoof extractors and brake ducts. There’s also Air Lift Performance racing suspension and three-piece forgeline wheels shod in “brand new” Continental tires.
Other mods include Kooks longtube headers, a Magnaflow side exit exhaust, a billet performance shifter, Hella foglamps, a custom vinyl wrap and a custom leather Katzkin interior.
All this will cost you $210,000 if you click ‘Buy It Now’ on the ad, or you could always make an offer. We doubt this ex-SEMA showpiece is worth $210,000, but it does feature some rare parts and is the first Scat Pack LX Challenger ever, so we doubt it will go for cheap.
