The Alfa Romeo 4C has received no changes for the new model year, with the Italian automaker quietly pricing the 2017 4C from $55,900 this week.
The manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the 2017 4C represents no change over the 2016 model year. The mid-engine sportscar has retained its 240 horsepower 1.75-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and six-speed twin-clutch transmission.
In other 4C news, automotive research site Autobytel has awarded the vehicle with its first-ever Buyer’s Choice award for ‘Best Sports Car.’ The award was handed down to the two-seater after Autobytel users shopped for and submitted more dealer contact forms for the 4C than any other competing vehicle.
According to Autobytel, the 4C beat out nine other sports car finalists for the distinction including strong competitors such as the Porsche Cayman S, Chevrolet Camaro SS, Jaguar F-Type and Audi R8.
