The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Verde has only been on sale in Europe for a few months now, however one unlucky owner of the 505 horsepower sedan has already managed to crash it. The near-totaled Alfa car is now for sale through German online vehicle marketplace Mobile.de, but we don’t think it’s a sale you’ll be particularly interested in pursuing.
The car in question has suffered severe damage to its right rear. The door has been pushed in, the side-curtain airbags have deployed and the right rear wheel assembly is no longer. The rear bumper was also ripped off in the wreck and the exhaust was bent upward and pushed into the rear differential. On the bright side, the front end remains entirely untouched and we suspect the 2.9-liter V6 engine and six-speed manual transmission remain in working order.
To fix the car would command a pricey repair bill and, unfortunately, it’s not that great of a bargain. Taxes in, this accident victim will cost 49,973 EUR. That’s around 21,000 EUR in savings, but with this degree of damage we can’t imagine there will be very many interested parties.
