The Dodge Viper ACR is one of the most extreme cars on sale today. With its 640 horsepower 8.4-liter V10 engine, massive rear wing and six-speed manual transmission, it’s the type of car that should only be a fantasy in this day and age of Teslas and car sharing.
Oddly enough, the Viper ACR wasn’t included in Forza Horizon 3’s massive car list when the open-world racing game launched earlier this year. Turn10 Studios and Microsoft have remedied the situation, though, offering the world’s fastest production track car up through its new Alpinestars Car Pack DLC.
Forza describes the ACR as “is little more than a race car with a license plate,” which is right on the money. You can experience it yourself in Forza Horizon 3 by purchasing the Alpinestars Car Pack for $6.99, which will also net you the 2017 BMW M4 GTS, 2017 Acura NSX, 1998 Nissan Silvia Ks, 1990 Mazda Savannah RX-7, 1967 Ford Falcon XR GT and 1978 Talbot Lotus Sunbeam.
The 2008 Dodge Viper ACR, along with the original 1999 Viper GTS ACR, are also playable in Forza Horizon 3.
