In July we showed you Ryan Tuerck’s insane Ferrari F136 V8 powered Toyota GT86 drift car build. Back then the car was still very much a work in progress, but today it’s more than ready to terrorize the tracks of the U.S. Formula Drift circuit.
The Ferrari-powered Toyota (talk about a weird succession of words) roared to life for the first time earlier this week, with Tuerck posting a video of it cold starting on its YouTube page. Tuerck has now decided to demo his insane creation for the first time and not surprisingly, he’s decided to have a bit of fun with it.
Rather than seeing what the Ferrari 458-engined dirft car can do on a drift circuit, Tuerck took it out and did doughnuts around a friend’s Ferrari 458. Ferrari engines may not be renowned for their torque output, but with over 500 horsepower on tap, it has no problem at all converting the light little two-doors rear tires into smoke.
Check it out in the video above.
