Someone Please Save This 2016 Dodge Viper ACR From The Grave

The Dodge Viper ACR is a 640 horsepower 8.4-liter V10 powered sportscar with rear-wheel drive, a six-speed manual transmission and enough downforce to shame some racecars. It’s no surprise, then, that one has already proven to be a bit too much car for someone and popped up for sale with a salvage title.
According to the listing, hosted by repairable car dealer 74Auto.com, the half-wrecked Viper ACR still runs and drives, however the steering wheel airbag deployed upon the impact. It appears the car mainly suffered damage to its front end, with the sides and rear of the car only suffering minor damage.
74Auto wants $57,900 for this once-great snake, but we’re not sure we’d buy into that. You can get a used ACR for a decent deal and we’d be surprised if the previous owner didn’t incur at least $40-$50k in damage when they punted this example into some Armco. Then again, that 8.4-liter engine is still in working order and the rest of the car could easily be parted out. We’re starting to get some ideas.
Check out the listing here and let us know if you think this Viper’s worth saving or purchasing for part-out in the comments.
Would you sell the rear wing and brackets off the car?
