With so much cargo space, you might say Ram Commercial’s Class 2 full-size van, the ProMaster 3500, is “highly customizable.” That makes it the perfect vehicle for Mopar to customize for the 2016 SEMA show and what do you know? It has!
The Ram ProMaster Pit Stop is perhaps the most fun of Mopar and Fiat Chrysler’s six SEMA 2016 concepts. The van has been customized wit ha hinged door on the driver’s side that swings open and upward to reveal a bar. Mopar has fitted keg refrigerators between the wheel wells, which are joined by four beer taps. The taps themselves are Mopar-inspired and represent a T-shifter and a typical manual shift knob.
Other add-ons include 20-inch Mopar concept wheels, aggressive wheel flaires, an open-style grille with unique Ram lettering, various Mopar graphic decals and logos and body-color front and rear fascias. The cabin features Katzkin leather seats, while the cargo area is set off with neon signs and various displays and gear. Under the hood is FCA’s 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine.
It might not be wicked fast like the Challenger Shakedown and Durango Shaker or a stellar off-road performer like the Jeep CJ66, but the Ram ProMaster has potentially the most important add-on of all, especially when you’re in Las Vegas: beer.
