FC Barcelona forward Neymar learned all about respecting a supercar’s performance recently after he spun his Ferrari on a slippery section of highway.
According to Fox News, the 24-year old Brazilian was driving to a game in his Ferrari 458 Spider when the car spun on a slippery exit ramp. Luckily the star athlete was unhurt in the ordeal and was able to play in that night’s 1-1 match against Real Sociedad.
The 458 Spider was also unscathed in the accident save for some minor damage to its front bumper. Neymar purchased the car last year and in an Instagram post said that owning a Ferrari had been a dream of his since he was a child.
The footballer’s minor shunt is a little embarrassing ,but far from the first time a celebrity has had to learn the hard way that Ferraris can be a bit unforgiving. At least it wasn’t as public or as memorable as Eddie Griffin’s Ferrari Enzo crash.
