In the summer we shared with you a pretty neat homemade remote-control Jeep made from Lego Technic parts. If you’re the type to get a bit stressed at even the thought of throwing together that many moving parts, however, a user over on Lego Ideas might have a solution for you.
Designer Chiho Kim has created a scale model Jeep Wrangler entirely out of Lego parts. It’s surprisingly accurate and features a seven-slot grille, round headlights, square taillights, a removable roof, large fenders and even a curved hood. We probably shouldn’t be too shocked at the accuracy after one Lego Ideas user cooked up the now-for-sale Ferrari F40 scale model.
For a Lego Ideas submission to be considered for production by Lego, it must gather 10,000 supporters. You can view Kim’s submission Jeep submission here and if you’re feeling it as much us, show him some support. It probably won’t be on the shelves in time for Christmas, but there’s always next year.
