Jeep this week announced its Movember ad campaign, which will consist of Movember-themed advertisements on various media platforms. The campaign is the result of a partnership between Jeep and the Movember Foundation – the world’s only charity dedicated solely to men’s health.
In addition to promoting men’s health, the campaign also looks to raise money for the Movember Foundation. Jeep will donate $1 to the charity for every photo of participants’ moustaches that are posted to Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #JeepStache. The automaker is also selling car moustaches to put on the front of your Jeep – with all proceeds form the sales also going to the foundation.
“As the only global charity focused solely on men’s health, the Jeep brand’s alliance with the Movember Foundation gives us the opportunity to shine a spotlight on a very important issue,” Jeep brand boss Mike Manley said in a statement. “We’re encouraging our fans, followers and owners across the globe to ‘Grow a Mo, Show a Mo’ by purchasing one of our Jeep ‘Stache by Carstache accessories to affix to their vehicle and by taking the Move Challenge to support the Movember Foundation.”
Manley, whose name is all-too appropriate to be attached to the campaign, recently sat down with FCA for a short video interview about the campaign. Hear what else he had to say about the initiative in the clip embedded above.
