The 2016 Formula 1 season is coming to close, with the year’s penultimate race, the Brazilian Grand Prix, schedule for this Sunday.
Mercedes-AMG Petronas’ Nico Rosberg can secure his first-ever World Driver’s Championship with a win in Brazil this weekend. Even if he doesn’t win, it seems likely the German will secure the title over Hamilton this weekend – he only needs one second place and one third place finish in these final two races to make it happen.
Scuderia Ferrari struggled n FP1 and FP2 today, however both Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen were working on setups and “trying new things,” and the team hopes to close the gap to Red Bull and Mercedes by qualifying Saturday.
U.S. F1 fans can catch the 2016 Brazilian Grand Prix on NBC Sports rom 10 a.m. ET on Sunday, November 13th. The network will also air Free Practice 3 from 8:00 a.m. ET on Saturday Novemebr 12th and qualifying from 11 a.m. Saturday.
