The Dodge Challenger 392’s 6.4-liter HEMI V8 is produces one of the loudest exhaust notes we’ve ever heard from a stock automobile. Normally we’d say it would be overkill to buy an even louder exhaust for it, but we’ve had a change of heart after hearing Borla’s cat-back system for the 6.4.
Borla offers different versions of its cat-back exhaust kits for varying levels of note aggressiveness. The loudest version, ‘Atak’, is sampled on a 2016 Dodge Challenger 392 Scat Pack in the video above. If the ‘Atak’ exhaust isn’t loud enough for you, maybe just cut your exhaust off altogether, because it produces some serious decibels.
Have a listen to the exhaust in the video above and head on over to Borla’s website for more information on the Atak kit for the Challenger and Charger 392. If you’re not one for a super aggressive exhaust note but want some added definition, you could always take a look at Borla’s ‘S-type’ system or its least aggressive ‘Touring’ kit.
