Fiat Chrysler has rebadged the compact Fiat Fullback pickup as the Ram 1200 – a product that will be exclusive to the Middle East.
The Fiat Fullback is itself a rebadge of the Mitsubishi L200. Like the L200 and the Fullback, the Ram 1200 will be offered with a 2.4-liter gasoline engine or a 2.5-liter diesel and will come standard with a six-speed manual transmission. A five-speed automatic is optional.
The Ram 1200 will be available for Middle Eastern customers in single- or double-cab configurations. Entry-level versions will come with rear-wheel drive as standard, however four-wheel drive with a three-speed transfer case will be offered as an option.
The Ram 1200 will arrive at Middle Eastern FCA dealers next year. Pricing has yet to be announced.
