Ferrari Japan continued its 50th Anniversary celebrations over the weekend with a special Ferrari-themed riverside party in Osaka, Japan.
Ferrari Japan’s 50th Anniversary celebrations kicked off earlier this year at the automaker’s Ferrari Racing Days Japan event, where it debuted the Ferrari FXX K to the Japanese public and introduced a special 50th Anniversary logo. Additionally, the annual Ferrari Cavalcade will take place in the country – set to kick off in Kyoto on November 10th.
The Osaka riverside celebration saw over 100 Ferrari owners from all over Japan descend on the port city to share their vehicles with thousands of Ferrari fans. Some of the cars were loaded onto to barges for a river parade of the boats, which Ferrari says was attended by over 3,000 cheering enthusiasts. The legendary Ferrari F2003 Formula 1 car, which helped Michael Schumacher win the 2003 world championship, served as the centerpiece of the display.
“Osaka shows a great connection with the Ferrari brand this year again,” said Ferrari Senior Vice President of Commercial and Marketing, Enrico Gallieria. “I appreciate all of you who attend the event, and thank you for organizing another great event where we celebrate 50 years of Ferrari in Japan.”
