Fiat Chrysler has celebrated the launch of the new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid minivan by applying a new building wrap to its Auburn Hills, Michigan headquarters.
The new wrap touts the Pacifica Hybrid’s 80 eMPG capability and features illustrations of pigs with wings surrounding a photo of the van. The joke, of course, is that you would only see an 80 eMPG minivan “when pigs can fly.”
Flying pigs is an impossible feat, but a highly efficient minivan isn’t. The Pacifica hybrid uses a 16 kWh battery, an electrically variable transmission and a more efficient version of Chrysler’s 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine to deliver an impressive 28 MPG fuel economy rating on gasoline only and an all-electric range of 30 miles.
Keep an eye out for the humorous new building wrap if you’re passing by FCA’s headquarters in Michigan over the next few weeks.
