Fiat Chrysler Canada has expanded its available trim levels for the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica by adding the less expensive LX and Touring models previously only offered on American-spec versions of the minivan.
When FCA Canada first announced pricing for the 2017 Pacifica, the automaker said it would offer just three trim levels: Touring-L, Touring L Plus and Limited. American buyers, meanwhile, were able to get into the van for less money with the available of the entry-level LX and Touring models. Now, Canadian customers have that convenience as well.
“As part of our launch rollout, which began in February 2016, we’re now able to expand Pacifica’s offerings and bring even more value to Canadian shoppers,” said FCA Canada CEO Reid Bigland.
The Pacifica LX comes standard with active noise cancellation, tinted glass, keyless entry and go, second and third row Stow n Go seating, tri-zone A/C, cruise control and a UConnect infotainment system with a 5-inch touchscreen. A step up to Touring trim adds 17-inch alloy wheels, dual power sliding doors, a rood rack system, a power drivers seat, power liftgate, Sirius XM Satellite radio and a Stow n Go driver’s seat.
Pricing for LX models starts at $37,995 CDN, while a step up to Touring trim will command an extra $2k for a total of $39,995 CDN. The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica is currently available to order in all five trim levels from Canadian FCA dealers.
