The most popular Ram variant available in Texas, the Ram 1500 Lone Star, received a new Silver Edition option this week at the 2016 Texas State Fair.
The Ram 1500 Lone Star Silver Edition expands on the standard Lone Star model with a chrome ‘Wave Mesh’ grille, bright chrome exterior moldings, chrome mirrors, chrome side steps, polished 20-inch wheels and front tow hooks. Rounding out the changes is a unique aluminum ‘Lone Star’ badge mounted on the grille.
All Lone Star Silver Editions will be available with cloth and vinyl high back bucket seats in either Canyon Brown/Light Frost Beige or Black/Diesel Gray. The trim package will also be available in conjunction with 4×2 and 4×4 Crew Cab and short and long box-length configurations and with Ram’s 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, 5.7-liter HEMI V8 or 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6.
The 2017 Lone Star Silver Edition is expected to arrive in dealerships in the fourth quarter of this year. It will add $900 onto the $38,995 pricetag of the Ram 1500, plus $1,320 in destination.
