Around 45 percent of all new Ferraris ordered are finished in red, a take rate that is actually down compared to the 1980s and ‘90s, but still a very significant amount.
Most Ferrari fans are massive fans of the automaker’s signature Rosso Scuderia and Rosso Corsa shades, including us, but every now and again it’s nice to see a Ferrari painted in a color other than red. Take this baby blue LaFerrari, for example, which was spotted by YouTube’s Marchettino during Monterey Car Week in August.
We couldn’t find very much info on this color shade, leading us to believe it’s a one-off creation applied to this car only. Those familiar with Ferrari body colors will notice that it’s much different than Azzuro California, Azzuro Dino, Tour de France Blue or any other common shade of blue offered by the automaker. The color also has a matte finish, which is set off nicely with a matte black carbon fiber roof, matte black wheels and black brake calipers.
