The 6.4-liter V8 equipped Dodge Charger 392 has one of the loudest stock exhaust notes of any new car, but if you’re looking for even more definition, Borla has you covered.
The Charger 392 features an exhaust with electronically variable valves, allowing the driver to choose just how much they want to disturb their neighbors. Borla instead offers a range of exhaust systems with varying loudness, however its systems can work in tandem with Fiat Chrysler’s MDS engine displacement system.
You can hear just how loud a Borla-equipped Charger 392 is in the short video above. There’s no doubt they’ve improved the sound quality of the 6.4-liter HEMI, but we’re not totally convinced it’s worth the $1,600 upgrade over the notably good stock exhaust.
