BMW Z4 Coupe With Viper V10 Is For Those With No Regard For Human Life

For reasons we don’t need to explain, the rear-wheel drive 640 horsepower Dodge Viper is one of the most intimidating road cars on sale. The Viper’s V10 engine is partly to blame for its menacing nature, so when we saw that someone had shoehorned it into the front end of the tiny BMW Z4 and put the car up for sale on eBay, we felt it was our duty to make a PSA.
It’s hard to imagine a more dangerous automobile than a compact car with a Viper’s V10 stuffed in the front. The German builder of the Dodge-powered Bimmer says his creation was built with safety in mind and it shows in the way of the roll cage and six-point harnesses, but we can’t to ignore the fact that for the majority of the population, this is probably too much car.
That’s not to say we don’t love it, however. The build looks extremely well done and is just begging to be taken to your local track day. It’s also road legal, so you can drive about town and let all your neighbors know you’re a basket case that likes to put around in something that’s actively looking to kill you.
The owner is apparently a special sort of mental, writing in the ad that he was considering supercharging the car to the effect of 700 horsepower before he changed his mind – probably because he has a family that loves him. He’s instead decided to sell the car for €49,500 ($55,600), so if you live in Europe and feel like putting your own life in jeopardy, check out the listing here.
