The Alfa Romeo Stelvio is slated for a debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November, however we got a sneak preview of the long awaited crossover after it passed by the background of an official Alfa Romeo video.
The Stelvio will share the rear-wheel drive based Giorgio platform the Giulia sedan and is also expected to share the sedan’s engine range. Alfa’s hoping the vehicle can successfully capitalizes on consumer demand for crossovers and help facilitate its growth- especially in the United States.
Alfa Romeoput together a now-deleted short video documenting its Cassino Assembly Plant in Italy, which builds the Giulia sedan and will also build the Stelvio. In the video, a Stelvio could be seen passing through in the background on the production line. The vehicle appears to be a lower-spec model and features a white exterior and small alloy wheels.
The video gaves us our best look yet at the Stelvio, but Alfa’s caught onto their mistake, so we’ll have to wait until its debut in November to see more.
