Exor Spa, the holding group owned by the Agnelli family that current owns a majority stake in Fiat Chrysler and Ferrari, is moving its headquarters from Turin to Amsterdam.
The move will help to better streamline Exor’s business ventures, as FCA, Ferrari and other businesses in its investment portfolio are also headquarterd in Amsterdam.
A source close to the matter told CNN the move to the Netherlands will help the company legal and financial expertise. The Dutch shareholder structure will also give more voting rights to stockholders who have owned their investments for longer, such as the Agnelli family themselves.
The move should be finalized by the end of the year, according to CNN, and affects about 25 employees at Exor’s head office in Turin.
