The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica has made the semi final cut for the North American Car/SUV Of The Year, which is to be announced at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
Chrysler unveiled the latest addition to the segment it created at the NAIAS 2016. The new minivan features seating for eight, more than 100 standard and optional safety and security features, an available Uconnect Theater rear seat entertainment system and for the eco-conscious – a hybrid version. The Pacifica is also the only minivan to receive the highest possible Top Safety Pick+ rating from the IIHS.
Other nominees in the SUV/Utility vehicle category consist of the Audi Q7, Cadillac XT5, Buick Envision, GMC Acadia, Infiniti QX30, Kia Sportage, Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class, Mazda CX-9 and Nissan Armada. The Pacifica is the only the minivan and the only Fiat Chrysler product up for a NACOTY award.
