The Challenger T/A, first teased in concept form at the 2014 SEMA Show, expands on the R/T trim level for the Challenger with some track-ready equipment. Lower and stiffer suspension, performance brake linings, a Hellcat airbox and Mopar air filter make up just some of the standard performance bits.
The Charger Daytona, meanwhile, is a resurrection of the iconic Daytona nameplate, last offered on the four-door sedan in 2013. The trim adds a HEMI hood graphic, Daytona rear quarter panel graphics, SRT fascias, a Satin Black rear spoiler and Daytona embroidered seats. Both the 6.4-liter HEMI V8 and 5.7-liter HEMI V8 are offered with the Daytona.
The two new model variants were unveiled during a special event at Detroit’s Vinsetta Garage ahead of the 2016 Woodward Dream Cruise this weekend. If you want to hear what FCA passenger car brand boss Tim Kuniskis had to say about them, check out the replay video of the event embedded below.
