As kids, some car enthusiasts may have had the undeniably cool racecar bed. They likely (hopefully) outgrew it, but one furniture company is showing us that you don’t have to be a child to appreciate a furniture that is also a car with their new Jeep desk.
The desk is made out of a reclaimed Jeep hood, grille and fenders and features working headlights. Cannett has also ensured it doesn’t forego function for form, including two storage drawers on either side of the hood. The recycled look is completed by a vintage patina-look finish.
The desk weighs in at 130 pounds and is about five long, three feet wide and two feet high. It’s not cheap at $2,200, but that’s not such a bad price to pay to have a real Jeep hood to work off of in the man cave. We’d take a trip down the local junkyard and see if we can make one ourselves before pulling the trigger on Cannett’s version, however.
