The Dodge Viper will bid farewell following the 2017 model year, so Dodge decided to send it off by releasing multiple special edition models marking the end its production cycle. All the Viper special editions are appealing in their own right, but which one is your favorite?
The 2017 Dodge Viper 25th Anniversary special editions consist of the 1:28 Edition ACR, GTS-R Commemorative Edition ACR, VooDoo II Edition ACR, Snakeskin Edition GTC, Snakeskin Edition ACR and the yet-t0-be-seen Dealer Edition ACR.
Personally, we’re partial to the GTS-R Commemorative Edition ACR, which is a throwback to the 1999 Viper GTS-R. We’re big fans of the classic white and blue Viper paint scheme, and it’s hard not to love its American flag B-pillar badges and racing-inspired red seatbelts.
The special edition model with the most potential to retain its value going forward, in our opinion, is the 1:28 Edition ACR. The model celebrates the ACR’s record breaking 1:28.65 lap of Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, which is a monumental achievement, and just 28 units will be made.
So, Viper fans, which of the special edition Vipers is your favorite? Let us know by voting and commenting below.
