The Chrysler Carlisle Nationals is described by the event organizer’s as being a “Mopar lover’s paradise.” With over 2,500 cars attending annually, there is something there for Mopar enthusiasts of all types. Even the second-generation Dodge Grand Caravan gets love at Carlisle.
YouTube’s car comedian Regular Car Reviews recently attended the 2016 Chrysler Carlisle Nationals and attempted to find his own personal best-in-show candidate. For Mr. Regular, this mostly entailed wandering around Carlisle and making fun of the multitude of tacky modified rides.
Judging from the video, Carlisle mostly consists of vintage cars like Plymouth Dusters and Dodge Monacos and modified modern Mopars like Dodge Neons and Cobalts. Regular Car Reviews eventually stumbles upon something boring and regular enough for him to truly appreciate, but it takes some wading through the wackiness to find it.
