Last week we shared a video of a Dodge Viper Venom 800 prepared by Hennessey Performance Engineering undergoing a dyno test. That car was owned by one of HPE’s customers, who has now taken delivery of the 800 horsepower supercar.
HPE made a name for itself tuning Vipers in the 1990s, but the bread and butter of the tuning firm’s business now is building up General Motors LS V8 engines. It’s good to see them back to tuning Vipers – and even better to see them injecting the all-American snake with a bit of boost.
HPE’s Venom 800 kit consists of a high-flow supercharger system, an air-to-air intercooler, high flow fuel injectors, a stainless steel 3-inch exhaust system and HPE engine management calibration.
See how the lucky owner of the latest HPE Viper Venom 800 enjoyed his first outing in the car in the video above.
