The Fiat 500 is a car that puts form over function. For less, European customers could have the less stylish but more practical Fiat Panda. Similarly, yacht-maker Riva is perhaps best known for the gorgeous styling of their wooden runabouts.
This commonality makes the Fiat 500’s and Riva’s recently announced partnership a match made in heaven. The coming together has resulted in the aptly named Fiat 500 Riva edition, which Fiat calls the “smallest yacht in the world.”
The Fiat 500 Riva features special Sera Blue paint with an aqua pinstripe line running through the beltline (inspired by Riva boats, of course). Model exclusive 16-inch alloy wheels, chrome mirror caps, door handles and hood trim add to the upscale look. Additionally, convertible variants will sport a blue soft top roof – created especially for the 500 Riva.
More Riva inspiration can be found in the cabin. Ivory-colored seats with Sera blue accents and Ivory seatbelts are present, along with real Mahogany and Maple on the dashboard, personalized plaque can be optioned for behind the handbrake. If you want the plaque, however, you’d better act quick, as just the first 500 Riva editions will be available with it.
The Fiat 500 Riva is now available to order in all markets, Fiat says.
