The 2017 Dodge Viper Snakeskin Edition GTC, which pulls inspiration from the venomous reptile the sportscar borrows its name from, has been unveiled by Dodge.
Unlike the other special edition Dodge Vipers, which include the Viper 1:28 Edition ACR, Viper GTS-R Commemorative Edition ACR and Viper VoooDoo II Edition ACR, the Viper Snakeskin Edition GTC is not based on the track-ready ACR model. Instead, the Snakeskin Edition GTC is based on the standard Viper GTC and features a custom snakeskin patterned SRT stripe, a GT black interior, a Snakeskin interior plaque and a custom car cover.
The Viper Snakeskin Edition GTC also comes standard with the Viper’s Advanced Aerodynamics Package, which consists of carbon fiber front corner splitters with extended rub strips and a carbon rear lip soiler. The kit doesn’t produce the absurd levels of downforce the ACR does, but with 278 pounds of downforce at 150 mph, it’s certainly effective.
Just 25 Viper Snakeskin Edition GTCs will be produced.
