More than 20 Ram truck owners from ‘Ram Nation’ teamed up with the First Response Team of America Saturday to help those affect by the floods in Rosenberg, Texas.
The volunteers, who were from local dealer Finnegan Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Truck’s Southwest Business Center, helped to deliver supplies and to help clean up homes damaged in the Memorial Day weekend floods. Ram first established a partnership with the First Response Team of America in 2012 to help respond to natural disasters across the country.
Rosenberg, located about 40 miles southwest of Houston, was evacuated late last month as water levels surged in the area. According to a 2010 census, 31,676 residents are located in the area.
‘Ram Nation’, also created in 2012, is described as a “grassroots organization of like-minded people willing and ready to help people in need,” with their trucks. Ram Nation members consist of owners and brand and dealership employees, and the group is always looking for members.
