Mopar will celebrate the 10th anniversary of its ‘Top Eliminator’ enthusiast program with the start of the season at the Midwest Mopars show in Farmington, Minnesota this weekend.
The Mopar Top Eliminator program was started in 2007 and aims to display and recognize Mopar vehicles that display excellence in modification or preservation.
Each year, three winners are chosen by a panel of representatives who based their selections off of appearance, history/provenance, Mopar content and more.
This year, an additional winner will be chosen at the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, to be held from July 15th-17th. The first two winners will have the option to have their cars displayed at Mopar’s booth at the Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit on August, 20th.
“We at Mopar are proud to continue honoring dedicated owners through the Mopar ‘Top Eliminator’ program,” said Mopar head of parts and service Pietro Gorlier. “The program shines a light on those who commit time, effort and resources to bring to life a Mopar ride that stands out from the rest.”
An outstanding Mopar-powered drag race vehicle and owner will also be chosen as part of the program. Fiat Chrysler says they will pick that winner Top Eliniator representative at the National Hot Rod Association’s U.S. Nationals, to be held in Indianapolis from Augsut 31st to September 5th.
