Jeep has partnered with USA Basketball and Sony/ATV Music Publishing for its third annual ‘Summer of Jeep’ advertising campaign, which consists of three new television commercials with USA Basketball athlete Paul George and music by Sony/ATV Music Publishing artist and songwriter Morgan Dorr.
The campaign debuted with two commercials featuring George entitled ‘4x4Summer’ and ‘What I Stand 4’. Jeep says 4x4Summer “celebrates the adventure and freedom that arrives with the long days and late nights of summer,” while What I Stand 4 “features George with family and long-time friends as he chronicles his basketball journey.”
A third spot entitled ‘4 New Perspective’ joined the Summer of Jeep campaign today and celebrates Hispanic culture, the automaker says. 4 New Perspective features a variation of Dorr’s 4x4Ever song, as do 4x4Summer and ‘What I Stand 4’.
In addition to promoting Jeep as a Summer-oriented brand, Summer of Jeep will also aim to show off the brand’s new line of 75th Anniversary edition vehicles, Jeep brand boss Mike Manley said.
“Positioning the Jeep brand’s 75th Anniversary Special Edition lineup as the official vehicles of summer gives us the opportunity to celebrate this brand achievement and highlight the open-air freedom that enables consumers to go out and enjoy the season to its full potential,” Manley said
