According to the NCAP, the Giulia’s array of standard safety systems played a large part in its five-star safety rating. The premium four-door, which is a rival to the BMW 3-Series, Audi A4 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class, comes standard with a ‘Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning’ system that provides autonomous braking assistance.
Standard on the 505 horsepower Giulia Quadrifoglio Verde are Blind-spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Path Detection and front- and rear-park assist sensors. All versions of the premium compact come standard with multistage driver and front-passenger air bags, driver and front-passenger seat-mounted side air bags, front and rear side curtain air bags and driver and front-passenger knee air bags.
The United States’ Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has yet to rate the Alfa Romeo Giulia.
