The 2017 Ram Power Wagon debuted earlier this year at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show. The new-look Power Wagon slightly resembles the aggressive Ram 1500-based Ram Rebel, but as new spy shots from FourWheeler indicate, a more luxurious 2017 Ram Power Wagon Laramie will soon arrive.
The Ram Power Wagon Laramie looks as though it will complete its more upscale look with chrome bumpers and badging, chrome mirror caps and chrome wheels. The photos also show a black grille fitted to the truck, however in production form the grille will likely be chrome, just like on the Ram 1500 Laramie.
The Laramie trim level for the Power Wagon will retain the truck’s off-road suspension, knobby tires, 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine, locking differentials, 12,000 lb winch, except with the added benefit of high-end interior appointments. It’s hard to say what Ram might have in store for the inside of the truck, but the Ram 1500 Laramie ups its opulence with exclusive leather upholstery, authentic wood trim, contrasting stitching and more.
