Fiat Chrysler last week announced the 2017 Fiat 124 Spider would start at a surprisingly low $25,990 including destination. Now, the automaker has launched an online configurator for the new roadster, allowing us to view more detailed pricing info ahead of the vehicle’s arrival at Fiat dealers shortly.
The entry-level 124 Spider Classica comes standard with 16-inch wheels, a cloth interior with manual seats, a six-speed manual transmission and halogen headlights. The optional Technology Collection adds a seven-inch touchscreen, rear view camera and keyless entry/start.
A step up to the Lusso trim level adds 17-inch wheels and leather upholstery as standard, along with keyless entry/start. A $1,495 Safety and Comfort Collection is also available and adds blind spot warning, auto-dimming mirrors, rear parking sensors, an alarm and a universal garage door opener. A Premium Collection takes the upscale treatment further with a nine-speaker Bose audio system, adaptive LED headlights front and rear cross-traffic alert and navigation.
Finally, the Elaborazione Abarth trim level brings a mechanical limited-slip differential and Bilstein shocks into the mix along with more aggressive front and rear fascias, quad exit exhausts and Abarth wheels. The Safety and Comfort and Luxury Collections are available as options, along with Brembo brakes and Recaro seats.
