Fiat Chrysler has announced it will live stream the official production launch of the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica minivan tomorrow from its Windsor Assembly Plant in Windsor, ON, Canada.
FCA US LLC Chairman and CEO Sergio Marchionne and Unifor President Jerry Dias will both be on hand for the official start of production of the 2017 Pacifica. Chrysler spent more than $2.6 billion developing the Pacifica and prepping the Windsor plant for its arrival, the automaker says.
The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica boasts countless improvements over the Chrysler Town & Country it replaces including over 100 new safety and security features, a more efficient Pentastar V6 engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission. Later this year, the plug-in Pacifica Hybrid will go into production at the Windsor plant.
You can watch the 2017 Pacifica roll off the assembly line live and also hear remarks from Marchionne on the new minivan when the live stream begins tomorrow at 12 p.m. ET. When the time comes, follow this link to view the stream.
