This week Alfa Romeo let the world’s automotive journalists have their way with their new 2016 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Verde performance sedan. It’s an important time for the brand, seeing as the Giulia is crucial to its success in coming years and how the media receives it will be a good indication of how consumers do.
To familiarize media with the 505 horsepower Giulia QV, Alfa invited them out to its test track just outside of Milan. There they were able to sample the twin-turbocharged compact and decide whether or not it’s a worthy competitor to other established performance sedans like the BMW M3 and Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG.
Rather than talk about the car in front of the camera, YouTube’s YouCar decided to simply film the Giulia QV turning in laps at Alfa’s test track so we could hear the sound of its Ferrari derived 2.9-liter V6. If you’re anything like us you’ve been eager to see and hear the Giulia at full chat, so be sure to watch the raw footage of the latest performance compact in the video above.
