After a successful launch in 2015, Fiat Chrysler has announced Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge will return for 2016 with a stop in Pontiac, Michigan and new stop at Kansas Speedway outside Kansas City, Kansas.
Much like Michigan last year, Kansas will play host to an eighth-mile time competition with cash prizes, opportunities for hot laps with Dodge drivers, live music, food trucks, a free car show and giveaways.
“When more than 10,000 performance enthusiasts flooded the gates at the first ‘Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge’ event at last year’s Woodward Cruise Week, we promised the event would be back, and it is,” said FCA passenger car boss Tim Kuniskis. “Even more than a pure enthusiast event filled with drag racing, thrill rides and live music, Roadkill Nights gets people off the streets and onto a track run by professionals, so they can really show how their hot rods perform in a more controlled environment.”
Roadkill Nights will arrive at Kansas Speedway on June 18th before heading to Pontiac during Woodward Cruise Week. Additional details in regards to Roadkill’s Woodward Cruise Week arrangements are yet to come, FCA says, but you can bet they have quite a lot planned.
