Lapo Elkann’s tuning shop Garage Italia Customs has unveiled a specially prepared Alfa Romeo 4C dubbed the ‘Deadly Snake’, which was built in collaboration with Adidas to celebrate the launch of the Adidas Football Deadly Focus soccer shoe lineup.
Garage Italia says the 4C is covered in a “tailor-made film reproducing the same animal-like pattern printed on the upper of the limited edition (Adidas) X15 and Ace 16 football shoes. The shoes are the latest addition to Adidas’ Limited Collection of shoes and were design in part with fashion designers Italia Independent.
Apart from the special vinyl scheme, the 4C Deadly Snake is otherwise identical to a stock example of the mid-engine sportscar. The 1.75-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine remains untouched, propelling the sub-200lb, carbon-tub two seater from 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds and taking it to a top speed of 160 mph.
