Fiat Chrysler Canada has been named one of the top employers in Canada for 2016 in the 2016 Randstad Awards.
The Randstad Awards were first held in 2000 and look to identify and present an award to the most attractive employers in 25 different countries. This year’s awards mark the sixth year in a row for the Canadian edition of the awards and juged businesses based on factors such as financial health, long-term job security, good work-life balance and strong management.
“We are honoured to receive such significant recognition from Randstad and in particular from the Canadians who endorsed FCA Canada as a desirable workplace,” said Reid Bigland, President and CEO of FCA Canada. “FCA Canada is committed to providing and sustaining a diverse workplace where employees can thrive and achieve. Healthy, happy and motivated employees are key to driving our innovation, growth and success.”
The Randstad Awards survey received 9,500 respondents in Canada from both employees and job-seekers between the ages of 18 and 65. Randstad says participants are asked for their views on the country’s largest companies, and companies cannot apply or request to take part in the survey.
FCA employs about 10,000 Canadians at its headquarters and various manufacturing sites in Ontario and Quebec.
