The new Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Night, which debuted at last year’s Los Angeles Motor Show, will arrive in Australia, the automaker has announced.
The Grand Cherokee SRT Night is based upon the Grand Cherokee SRT, however Jeep has given it an extra dose of evil with blacked out exterior features. The roof, rear spoiler, front grille bezels, window surrounds and B- and C-Pillars are all painted Gloss Black, while 20-inch Satin Black wheels are also applied.
Inside, the Grand Cherokee SRT Night comes equipped with Black leather seating, silver contrasting stitching and black chrome and silver bezels. A Harmon-Kardon 19-speaker 825-watt audio system is also standard.
Under the hood the Grand Cherokee SRT Night is identical to the standard SRT variant of the mid-size SUV. Jeep’s 6.4-liter HEMI V8 is present and producing a stout 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to all wheels through am eight-speed automatic transmission.
Australian pricing has yet to be announced, however a standard Grand Cherokee SRT carries a $66,490 price tag in the U.S., equivalent to about $87,500 AUD.
